Position Type: Full-time About the Opportunity
A leading global leader in silicon IP and semiconductor solutions is seeking an experienced SMTS Software Engineer / Design Automation Engineer to join their Design Automation group. In this role, you will help develop front-end design automation flows and support a global Digital IP development team. Reporting directly to the Design Automation Manager, you will help build, enhance, and maintain world-class tools and automation that drive front-end verification and IP creation across the organisation. Responsibilities
Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generation Work closely with members of the Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to collaboratively solve problems and build solutions Provide support to our global engineering organization Qualifications
BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree strongly preferred; but substantial, relevant, outstanding work experience may substitute in some cases 5-10 years of experience working as a HW/SW engineer or related field Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools Strong written and verbal communication skills By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
