Overview
In this role you lead ERM's Netherlands business to deliver profitable, sustainable growth.
You will build and sustain key client and investor relationships, particularly with Private Equity and financial-sector players, translating market opportunities into differentiated offerings.
You will shape the local strategy, lead a high-performing team and ensure high-quality advisory delivery, while representing ERM to clients, investors and industry stakeholders.
This is a strategic leadership role in a fast-evolving sustainability market.

- Develop and execute the Netherlands strategy aligned with global priorities
- Provide visible, inspiring leadership and accountability for performance
- Champion sustainability, health & safety, quality, inclusion and integrity
- Represent ERM in the Netherlands to clients, investors, associations and regulators
- Collaborate with regional/global leaders to identify growth opportunities and deliver objectives
- Define growth plans focused on Private Equity, infrastructure funds, financial markets and ESG value creation
- Oversee operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Recruit and develop talent; foster a culture of collaboration, learning and inclusion
- Sponsor strategic client engagements, especially around investment, transaction and value creation initiatives
- Ensure high-quality, on-time, on-budget project delivery
- Drive client service excellence and long-term partnerships
- Translate market insights into differentiating propositions and cross-sell within ERM
- Lead strategic account development and cross-functional collaboration across ERM’s platform
- Maintain risk management, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction
- Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields
- Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in consulting, Private Equity, investment management, transaction advisory, corporate finance or sustainability advisory
- Strong Dutch market understanding and network; experience with PE, infrastructure funds, investors or financial institutions preferred
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth
- Experience supporting M&A transactions, ESG/EHS due diligence, or sustainability initiatives
- Leadership experience with team scaling and stakeholder management
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert opportunities into growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels
- Fluent in English; Dutch strongly preferred
