Hemera Textiles – Tagroom Team Leader

Fulltime | 40 hours per week | Hem, The Netherlands About the organisation Hemera Textiles is part of Episode, an international company specialising in vintage and second‑hand clothing. From our location in Hem, we process large quantities of clothing every day, which are eventually sold in our stores across several European countries.

Within our Tagroom, we ensure that all clothing is carefully inspected, processed and prepared for our retail stores. Quality, efficiency and accuracy are central to everything we do.

We are looking for a motivated and committed Team Leader to lead our Tagroom team. Someone who knows how to motivate employees, maintain an overview and ensure that daily production runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, you are flexible and willing to support our other production department, the Washing Department, whenever necessary.

Your role As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of the Tagroom team. You will ensure that tasks are distributed effectively, production targets are achieved and quality standards are maintained.

You will work closely with the production employees and make sure everyone knows what is expected of them. You will also identify areas for improvement and actively contribute ideas to optimise daily operations.

In addition to your responsibilities within the Tagroom, you are also expected to support the Washing Department whenever necessary. You are willing to step in during busy periods, staff shortages or other operational situations to ensure that the overall production process continues to run smoothly.

Your responsibilities include:

Leading, motivating and supporting the production team.

Planning and distributing daily tasks.

Monitoring production progress and ensuring that daily production targets are achieved.

Checking and maintaining the quality of processed clothing.

Identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the production process.

Training and supporting new employees.

Monitoring the performance and development of team members.

Communicating relevant information and progress to management.

Suggesting improvements to optimise processes and productivity.

Providing support to the Washing Department whenever operationally necessary.

Creating and maintaining a safe, organised and positive working environment.

Working hours: 07:00–16:00. Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience in a production or logistics environment who enjoys taking responsibility and leading a team. You are flexible and don’t mind getting involved in operational tasks yourself whenever necessary.

You recognise yourself in the following profile:

You have at least 2 years of experience in a production, logistics or similar working environment.

You have experience leading or coordinating a team.

You are a natural leader who knows how to motivate and support others.

You have strong organisational skills and are able to prioritise tasks effectively.

You take responsibility and maintain an overview, even under pressure.

You communicate clearly and effectively.

You are proactive, solution‑oriented and take initiative.

You are flexible and willing to work in different production departments whenever necessary.

You can speak and understand English.

What do we offer?

A fulltime position of 40 hours per week.

A gross monthly salary starting from

€3,466.67 , depending on experience, based on a 40-hour working week.
