EMEA Recruitment is partnering with an international consumer goods organization seeking a
BI & Data Management Lead
to develop and drive its newly established data function.

Combining hands‑on technical expertise with leadership and strategic influence, you will own the BI roadmap, develop a talented analyst and work closely with senior stakeholders to transform how data supports business decisions.

Key responsibilities of the BI & Data Lead:
Lead and develop the BI & Data Management function, coaching an existing BI Analyst and shaping future capabilities
Design, develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, data models and KPI reporting to deliver actionable business insights
Drive AI and automation initiatives, including natural-language querying of business data to improve accessibility and decision‑making
Establish consistent KPI definitions, data governance standards and improvements to data quality
Own the BI roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and aligning technical solutions with wider business objectives
Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations and senior leadership to drive adoption and promote data‑driven decision‑making
Experience required:
Strong hands‑on expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modelling and data warehouse environments
Previous leadership or people management experience, with a proven ability to coach, develop and motivate others
Genuine enthusiasm for AI, with practical exposure to AI‑enabled analytics, automation or LLM‑based solutions
Experience establishing or improving BI capabilities, data governance and consistent KPI frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership
A proactive, pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable balancing technical delivery with strategic ownership in an evolving environment
Fluent English is essential with Dutch and/or Spanish being advantageous
