The Role We're seeking a seasoned Chief Risk & Compliance Officer who thrives in greenfield environments and has a track record of building frameworks from scratch.
You'll sit on the executive team alongside the founders. You'll own the risk and compliance strategy, lead regulator engagement, and embed a strong control culture from day one. You'll stay hands-on in designing policies, processes, and controls, and you will build the future risk and compliance function.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in risk, regulatory compliance, and governance, including senior leadership roles in regulated environments.
- Proven track record of building or significantly developing a risk and compliance framework in a fast-growing business.
- Deep regulatory expertise and established, credible relationships with regulators.
- Experience reporting to boards and executive leadership.
- Start-up or scale-up mentality; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid growth.
- Strong ownership mindset, with the gravitas to challenge and influence at founder and board level.
- Hands-on approach rather than a purely oversight or managerial profile.
