As Key Account Manager – Aviation, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening customer relationships and unlocking new business opportunities across the UK, Germany, and the Nordics. You will help shape the future of our aviation business by nurturing existing partnerships, developing strategic accounts, and supporting the introduction of new business. Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and technical teams, you will turn customer insights into meaningful business outcomes and contribute to sustainable, long-term growth.
What You'll Do Build trusted, long-term relationships with key customers, becoming a valued partner who understands their priorities and supports their business goals.
Strengthen existing customer accounts, identify opportunities for growth, and develop account strategies that deliver sustainable business results.
Build connections with key decision-makers, understand market dynamics, and turn customer insights into new business opportunities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth introduction of new customers and business partnerships.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and technical colleagues to align priorities and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate customer forecasts, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), RvCC, and product roadmaps to support informed decisions and reliable planning.
Strengthen awareness of Goodyear's aviation tire portfolio, stay close to industry developments, and work with internal teams to communicate the value of our products and solutions.
What We're Looking For Proven experience in B2B sales or Key Account Management, ideally within aviation, aerospace, tires, automotive, or another technical industry.
The ability to build trust, establish meaningful connections, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders across complex organizations.
Experience developing customer accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and translating customer needs into effective business solutions.
An aerospace, engineering, or other technical background is a strong advantage, together with an interest in understanding technical products and customer applications.
Confidence communicating with international stakeholders, adapting your approach to different cultures, and building alignment across teams.
A proactive mindset, the ability to learn quickly, take ownership, navigate changing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic international environment.
Fluency in English is essential for this international role.
German language skills are a strong advantage, given the customer base and regional scope.
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with digital productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot are also beneficial.
