Field Services Engineer in Utrecht

Field Service Engineer Talent Pool – High-Tech Manufacturing Location:

Central to western Netherlands, ideally around Utrecht, Rotterdam or Amsterdam

Field roles typically involve regular travel to customer sites

Are you an experienced field service engineer working with complex machinery? We’re connecting with engineers in the central and western Netherlands who may be interested in future opportunities supporting advanced manufacturing equipment, including technologies used in semiconductor production.

The Opportunity We’re interested in speaking with engineers whose experience could transfer to high-tech manufacturing environments. Semiconductor experience isn’t essential. Relevant backgrounds may include:

CNC and machine tools, including laser cutting, bending and punching equipment

Woodworking machinery and CNC systems

Injection moulding and plastics machinery

Food processing, packaging and production-line equipment

Printing and converting machinery

Horticultural and greenhouse automation

Material handling, port equipment or compressors and rotating machinery

Depending on the opportunity, work may include installing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites, diagnosing faults and managing service visits independently.

What You Bring

Experience in field service, including regular travel to customer sites

A mechanical background and experience with complex machinery; familiarity with moving axes is useful

Some electrical aptitude; PLC or HMI programming experience is not essential for mechanically focused roles

A practical, self-managing approach and confidence working directly with customers

Dutch language skills for customer communication

A home base in the central or western Netherlands, ideally around Utrecht, Rotterdam or Amsterdam
