As we grow, we're looking for a driven transportation planner. You're responsible for efficiently planning vehicles, drivers, driver helpers and routes. You make sure our transportation operations run smoothly and that customers can count on reliable service.
What you'll do
Creating and optimizing the daily transportation schedules.
Directing and supporting drivers while they are on the road.
Monitoring the progress of routes and responding promptly to changes.
Keeping in touch with customers, clients and drivers.
Processing transportation orders and the related paperwork.
Spotting bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.
Making sure people and equipment are used efficiently.
What we're looking for
Education at MBO+ or HBO level (Dutch vocational or higher professional education), preferably in transportation or logistics.
Experience as a planner or transport planner is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and focused on solutions.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
Good command of Dutch and English.
Knowledge of transportation planning software is a plus.
