At BUN, we take pride in high quality homemade sandwiches for our loyal crowd on the Nieuwe Binnenweg. We are looking for a general manager to lead our team and be part of our expansion journey. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will contribute to our fun, energetic and down to earth culture. This role would be responsible for BUN, BUN Bakhuis, and possibly a prospective third location. As General Manager you are accountable for ensuring performance, standards and consistency across all locations. You’ll have real autonomy, room to make changes, and the chance to grow with us. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Set the standards for professionalism and service, and keep them the same at every location. Hire, train, coach and evaluate the team. You make the hiring, firing and disciplinary decisions. Develop the shift managers, who will be in charge of the floor when you are not on location. You will decide who is ready, brief them before each shift, and evaluate how they lead. Publish the staff schedule and keep it reliable Place all stock orders and manage suppliers and vendors for the group. WHAT YOU BRING
Proven experience managing and leading teams Kitchen experience and understanding of hygiene standards A track record of developing systems: checklists, and routines that ensure standards and consistency You are organized. Have experience making schedules, orders and reports. HOW WE HIRE
