About the Role: We are looking for a Service Technician to maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems at a large logistics facility in Bleiswijk.
You will work in a technical team responsible for keeping automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, and picking equipment running efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited to technicians with a background in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical maintenance, industrial automation, or material handling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Maintain conveyors, automated storage systems, picking equipment, motors, and related components.
Identify technical issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
Carry out basic fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems.
Work closely with other technicians to ensure reliable system performance.
Follow safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
MBO-level qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Previous experience in maintenance, service engineering or a similar industrial environment.
Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with an approximate 60% mechanical and 40% electrical focus.
Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge is preferred.
Warehouse automation experience is an advantage, but candidates from manufacturing, packaging, material handling or similar industrial environments are welcome.
Good English communication skills. Dutch is not required.
Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern.
Shift Pattern: The role follows a repeating 10-day cycle:
2 morning shifts: 05:30-14:30
2 afternoon shifts: 13:30-22:30
2 night shifts: 21:30-06:00
4 consecutive days off
Weekend and public holiday work is required.
