Introduction to the jobAs mergers & acquisitions (M&A) manager, you will support key activities across the entire transaction lifecycle related to possible mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic investments.Role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will report directly to the Head of M&A.

You will apply strategic, analytical, and transactional skills to support the identification and execution of growth opportunities across ASML.Your key responsibilities include:Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitor assessments to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets consistent with ASML’s strategic prioritiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive financial models & valuation analyses to evaluate transactions and present clear, data‑driven recommendations to senior stakeholdersCoordinate and support end‑to‑end due diligence activities across all ASML functions involved in the transaction processBuild strong relationships across the organization and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless transaction executionEnsure consistency and alignment throughout the M&A lifecycle by managing each step of the process, securing stakeholder buy‑in, and integrating insights from business leaders, corporate functions, and external advisorsWork with exceptional attention to detail and strong time‑management skills, leading multiple workstreams simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectationsEducation and experience7+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, management consulting or similar M&A or strategic partnership rolesUndergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or similar is required; graduate degree preferredSkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
