Overview
In this role you will drive workforce planning for Design & Engineering across Europe and UK, ensuring accurate demand forecasting and optimal deployment of talent.
You will work closely with sector leaders, project managers and TA partners to align resources with pursuit needs and client demands.
Your work enables better billability, data quality and proactive mobilization of talent across projects.
This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role that shapes how we plan talent to deliver sustainable design and engineering solutions.
- Verantwoordelijkheden
- Engage with team managers in Europe UK to maximize billability and forecast reliability
- Own the 12-week look-ahead accuracy for teams within remit and improve planning quality
- Proactively identify work and demand that can be planned in advance for Design & Engineering
- Provide dashboards insights to stakeholders to support informed decisions
- Identify recruitment needs and liaise with stakeholders for timely action
- Maximize soft booking and pre-planning practices within Design & Engineering
- Support mobilization and demobilization of talent across Europe UK
- Be the go-to contact for talent seeking opportunities, documenting data in WFP Tags
- Develop deep knowledge of aligned teams to provide strong recommendations
- Build relationships with pursuit leaders and project managers to source resources
- Establish and maintain networks with Design & Engineering team managers and ensure solution-driven accountability
- Understand how to engage GEC within Design & Engineering
- Identify data gaps in workforce planning and work to resolve them
- Support onboarding of new joiners and maintain profiles on WFP Tags
- Engage with Sector and Industry leads to understand client talent requirements
- Maintain enriched workforce data and manage demand risks
- Escalate supply/demand risks and changes, using the WFP network to find solutions
- Act as a primary contact in pursuits to source suitable talent for sales
- Identify client attributes to inform WFP Tags and maximize value
- Support prioritization of top-tier clients or major opportunities
- Serve as the point of contact for Tier 3-4 client teams in Design & Engineering
- Belangrijkste vereisten
- Experience in workforce planning, resource planning, deployment coordination or similar in AEC or professional services in EUK
- Strong understanding of workforce analytics and forecasting impact on deployment
- Proven stakeholder management and collaboration skills with multiple senior roles
- Knowledge of regional talent trends, labor markets, and basic employment law related to workforce planning
- Analytical and data-driven with ability to identify data gaps and improve data quality
- Change management and transformation experience supporting new processes and tools
- Knowledge of processes and systems driving workforce planning data and demand matching or ability to learn quickly
- Client-oriented and solution-driven mindset to translate needs into practical actions
- Strong communication for timely feedback, recommendations and early warnings on risks
- Ability to manage competing priorities, escalate risks, and leverage networks to source talent
- Understanding of commercial drivers like utilization, billability, project margins and their impact on planning
