About the job
You're the accounting authority at Aquablu: the integrity of our financial statements, the completeness of our audit file, and every tax obligation the company has.
You report directly into the CFO. You’re end responsible to set the close calendar, build the control environment from scratch, and take Aquablu through its first statutory audit.
How this looks like in practice
Audit readiness.
Statutory financial statements under Dutch GAAP (RJ), an audit file that's ready year-round rather than at year-end, the external audit led end to end, and documented policies for provisions, leases, revenue recognition and capitalisation.
Close.
Review and sign off journals, reconciliations and period-close output. Own the close calendar and prepare the management accounts package for the CFO.
Tax.
