TOPdesk Engineer in Tilburg

Are you an experienced TOPdesk professional with a strong background in integrations, APIs, IT Service Management (ITSM) and asset management? For an end client in the Netherlands, we are looking for a

TOPdesk Engineer / Administrator , with the primary focus on engineering, integrations and platform optimisation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving the TOPdesk environment, connecting systems, optimising ITSM processes and supporting effective asset management. Both freelance and payroll arrangements are possible. What will you do?

Engineer, configure and continuously improve the TOPdesk platform. Design, implement and maintain integrations between TOPdesk and other applications using APIs and web services. Develop and optimise workflows, forms, service processes and self-service functionalities. Configure and improve IT Service Management processes within TOPdesk. Support and optimise asset management, including the registration, maintenance and management of IT assets and their relationships. Improve asset data quality and ensure accurate, consistent information across the platform. Work with REST APIs, web services and data exchanges to enable reliable communication between systems. Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Troubleshoot technical issues relating to integrations, workflows, asset data and platform functionality. Manage and maintain TOPdesk modules, settings, permissions and configurations. Collaborate with IT teams, process owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Document configurations, integrations and process improvements. What are we looking for?

Demonstrable experience as a TOPdesk Engineer, Technical Consultant, Application Specialist or Administrator, preferably with a strong engineering focus. Strong experience with

TOPdesk integrations, APIs and system connectivity . Practical experience with REST APIs, web services and data exchange between applications. Solid knowledge of

IT Service Management (ITSM)

processes and their implementation within TOPdesk. Experience with

asset management in TOPdesk , including asset registration, configuration, relationships and data quality. Experience configuring and optimising workflows, forms, service processes and self-service portals. Understanding of ITIL principles and IT Service Management best practices. Experience analysing and resolving technical issues involving integrations, workflows and asset management. The ability to translate functional and technical requirements into practical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach to automation, continuous improvement and platform development. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. What is on offer?
