We are looking for a Configuration Management Engineer to support both Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Manufacturing Engineering within a complex defence‑sector program.
Responsibilities
Manage SBOM and MBOM structures in 3DX.
Ensure traceability between EBOM, SBOM, MBOM and related breakdown structures.
Maintain CM documentation and CMP appendices for ILS and Manufacturing.
Develop and manage batch release processes and reporting.
Check and report on data completeness across SBOM/MBOM.
Coordinate data exchange with external partners.
Act as CM point of contact for ILS, Manufacturing, and customer stakeholders.
Analyse and improve release flows from engineering to production.
Create templates for measuring release readiness of engineering information.
Profile
Strong experience in Configuration Management in engineering‑to‑order environments.
Knowledge of 3DX, BOM structures, vendor data management.
Able to lead CM activities, boards, and cross‑disciplinary alignment.
Skilled in documentation control, data governance, and process implementation.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related fields; CM2/ASEP/IPMA preferred.
Fluent English; German is a plus for customer contacts.
