At Alcochem Steel BV, we are looking for a practical and independent Technology & Supply Chain Coordinator. You will be the connecting link between our customers, colleagues in the Netherlands, and suppliers and colleagues in China. This is a broad and varied role with plenty of responsibility and opportunity to contribute ideas.
What will you be doing? You ensure that technical information, orders and deliveries are properly aligned. You maintain an overview, coordinate with all parties involved and help resolve technical or logistical issues in a practical way.
Your responsibilities include:
Coordinating technical support for customers.
Coordinating technical requirements and product changes with colleagues in China.
Supporting the development of new products and coordinating samples.
Supporting and following up on technical and quality-related matters.
Supporting and following up on orders, transport and deliveries from China.
Ensuring clear communication and effective information exchange between customers and colleagues in China.
Providing broad support with day-to-day technical, administrative and logistical activities.
You will have a varied role in which you work independently, respond quickly and connect technology with the supply chain.
Who will you work with? You will work closely with our colleagues in the Netherlands and China. You will also have regular contact with customers and international suppliers. Communication lines are short, allowing you to consult quickly and put your ideas and initiative into practice.
Who are we looking for? You do not need to know everything already. What matters most to us is that you have technical insight, an affinity with metal products, a practical mindset, take responsibility and can switch easily between different tasks and contacts.
What you bring:
MBO/HBO level of education and thinking, preferably in a technical or logistics-related field.
You can read and understand technical drawings.
Experience with metalworking or metal products is an advantage.
You work independently, accurately, systematically and with a solution-oriented approach.
You can switch effectively between technical matters, customers, orders and logistics.
You communicate easily with customers, colleagues and international suppliers.
You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
