Station Security Guard / International Train Service
employee to work at
Amsterdam Centraal . The position
is available as part-time, full-time, and permanent employment , with weekend availability required.
The role focuses on maintaining safety at the station and on international trains. The security guard monitors the environment, identifies potential issues at an early stage, intervenes when necessary, and assists travelers with questions or problems. Depending on the shift, duties may include supporting night travelers or escorting an international train connection.
Candidates must hold an
MBO Security Guard Level 2 diploma , be at least
18 years old , and be able to reach Amsterdam Central
24/7 . Impeccable conduct is required, with the source specifying no contact with the police or justice system. Applicants must be available for scheduling
Monday through Sunday
and willing to work at least
96 hours per 4 weeks . Dutch and English are required, both spoken and written.
The salary starts at
€17.37 per hour
and can increase to
€20.70 per hour depending on experience . Additional surcharges apply for evening, night, public holiday, and weekend shifts, while overtime is paid in full.
Requirements
MBO Security Guard Level 2 diploma
At least 18 years old
Ability to reach Amsterdam Central 24/7
Impeccable conduct with no contact with the police/justice system
Availability Monday through Sunday
Willingness to work at least 96 hours per 4 weeks
Dutch spoken and written
English spoken and written
